Our Mission
The Regional YMCA tries hard to have a highly energetic and suportive atomosphere in order to give all campers a chance
to learn new things about themeselves and about the outdoors while having fun. We want to provide each child with social groth
as an individual, as well as in a group. We also encourage parent participation as part of the continued success of our summer
camp. The main goal of the Greenknoll YMCA Day Camp is to instill the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsiblity
through the daily camp experience.
Our Philosophy
The focus of Greenknoll Day Camp is to make each camper's summer a safe and rewarding experience. Campers learn and caring
for others, the value of honesty and the importance of responsiblity. The goal of our camp program is for our children
to build greater self-estem and gain an appreciation for others and the world around them while having fun!
Our Goals
v To encourage the development of physical skills through participation in all camp activities.
v To encourage and support Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility through daily activities.
v To provide a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all campers.
v To develop leadership and life skills in each of our campers by providing programs that
nurture and explore each camper’s growth.
v To develop and encourage an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. To Have fun & be safe!!!!!!!
